KAY

Our fearless leader Kay in action running up French Ridge.

Originally a caver, she moved to the light side with an expedition to Pakistan as her first alpine climbing trip.

Specialist Dyslexia teacher, as well as mother, baker, skier, walker, occasional climber and the calming influence on our sweaty brows.

Was owner of 2 broken knees, but is now methodically testing 2 new bionic ones!!

GRAEME

Gentleman skier even though Australian and having lived in Wanaka for nearly 20 years.

Also known as the Hero of Telemark, though not as good looking as Kirk Douglas. 

Telemarked pretty much every continent in the world.  His favourite saying is when grunting up the first hill for the tramping season..."Feel the toxins purging from your soul!"   (Go figure?)

VICKY

Our good keen lass from Essex UK, will give anything a go. Vicky takes every opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy all that Wanaka offers.

Skiing, surfing, skateboarding, mountain biking and tramping...she does it all.  Animal lover extra-ordinaire....or crazy catwoman take your pick.

ANNA

Anna is senior ski patroller and also a dog handler for Land SAR NZ specialising in avalanche rescue. She has been living in Wanaka for 16 years with her husband and young daughter.   Her favourite saying is "speed is your friend." 

SIMON  

Simon returns to MT Outdoors after quite a few years break.  Ski Patroller & head of Snow Safety at Treble Cone and previously a NZ Mountain Guide, he is a font of knowledge for all things climbing, tramping and skiing.   Want great advice on technical equipment - Simon's your man.   Simon's also a keen fly fisherman... but good luck finding out his secret spots!

KARLA

Our newest member, not to be confused with a previous employee, is here from Colorado, USA for the summer to enjoy everything that Wanaka offers and escape from the cold Colorado winter.  Tramping, mountain biking, rock climbing, ski touring, yoga… hoping to get it all in.
